Mark your calendars for a festive weekend starting with Atkinson’s Christmas Festival on Friday, December 6th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in downtown Atkinson. Finally, don’t miss Geneseo’s annual Christmas Walk on Saturday, December 14th, from 8 AM to 8 PM, with main festivities kicking off at 5 PM. Experience the magic with a lighted parade, ice sculptures, living windows, Christmas shopping, trolley rides, a gingerbread house contest, and so much more!
To top it all off, Crossroads Cultural Connections is teaming up with Allenia Space and Crescent City Tap to present A Quad Cities Christmas Carol, an original play by local playwright Tom Akers that puts a fresh twist on Charles Dickens’ classic tale. This special performance will be held on Friday, December 20th, at Allenia Space in Galva.
