Santa even visited during the Last Lighting in June! We thought it would be cool to honor St. Nick by having a Christmas Walk theme that honors Santa. And the “Too Many Santas” was born.\n \nWhat is Too Many Santas? We want EVERYONE to dress like Santa Claus for this year’s Geneseo Christmas Walk. We are honoring Santa this year. Think “Where’s Waldo”\, only with Santas everywhere! But where is the real Santa? Can you help us find him at the Geneseo Christmas Walk?\n \nThere will be “Too Many Santas” at the 2024 Geneseo Christmas Walk. DESCRIPTION:Get ready to celebrate the enchanting tradition of Lucia Nights at Bishop Hill on December 13 and 14\, 2024\, from 6 to 9 p.m.! This heartwarming festival\, rooted in a Swedish legend\, honors Saint Lucia\, the Queen of Light. \n  \nSaturday December 14:\n• Soup and Chili Supper at the Bishop Hill Community United Methodist Church will begin at 4:00 p.m. until they run out. A free-will donation is appreciated to cover the meal cost.\n• Peoria Cooperative Academy Madrigal Singers will be performing at the Bishop Hill Methodist Church from 6:30 to 7 p.m.\n• The Vasa National Archives will have a closing reception for their exhibit\, with storyteller Brian “Fox” Ellis sharing Christmas Stories from 6 to 8 p.m.\n• Hammer and Pick will be playing at the Steeple Building\, starting at 6 p.m.\n• At the Prairie Arts Center\, Deirdre and Fiona Light will be performing holiday music from 6 to 7 p.m.\n• Cambridge High School Choir will be caroling from building to building.\n• At the Creative Commons\, Coffee Creek will be playing starting at 6:30 p.m.\n• At the Colony School\, there will be an Old-Fashioned Barn Dance\, with Sangamo Stemwinders performing and Gail Hintze calling. Beginners are welcome and no partner is necessary. \n
